Description
14 Croxteth Road is a house built in the 1860s, constructed from rock-faced stone and topped with a slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with the central bay featuring an attic. It includes a flat band over the ground floor, a sill band on the first floor, and a cornice above the attic. The corners of the house are accentuated with rusticated quoins.
On the ground floor, there are three round-headed windows with aprons, flanked by two flat pilasters and archivolts. The first-floor windows have architraves and are sashed with glazing bars, while a round-headed window is located in the attic. The entrance features angle pilasters and an entablature, with a glazed doorcase and a half-glazed door. The garden front facing the park has an iron verandah, which is flanked by bays that contain round-headed recesses.
