Description
27 Park Street is a house dating from around 1860, constructed of brick with stone dressings and topped with a slate roof. The building is symmetrical, featuring two storeys and three bays. The windows are glazing bar sashes with architraves; the ground-floor windows have panels beneath their sills, while the first-floor windows are set above a sill band. The entrance is marked by a pilaster doorcase with a modillion cornice, leading to a six-panel door with an overlight and panelled reveals. A modillioned timber gutter cornice runs along the top. The gables are coped and include chimneys. To the left, there is a narrow two-storey projection with a lean-to roof; its ground floor is blank, while the first floor has a sash window. The interior has not been inspected.
