Description

Dunscar House is a house built around 1830, constructed of stone and featuring hipped slate roofs. The building is two storeys high and has five bays, with the last two bays recessed under a separate roof and an extruded corner. The first three bays include a first-floor sill band and a top cornice. The windows are sashed and have glazing bars. The entrance, located in the second bay, is elliptical-headed and features an Ionic doorcase and porch. The end bay has a loggia that is recessed behind two round arches. The extruded corner includes a round-headed window on the return and a small casement on the front. There are two central stacks on the roof.
