62-72, Devonshire Road

62 to 72 Devonshire Road is a symmetrical terrace of six houses built in the 1850s. The houses are constructed of stucco and feature a slate roof. They rise three storeys with a basement, and each house has three bays. The two central houses and one house at each end project slightly forward. Each end of the terrace has a one-storey bay.

The design includes a basement lintel band, a first-floor sill band, and a top entablature with a blocking course. The windows are framed with architraves; the ground floor windows have panelled aprons, while the first-floor windows of the central block feature friezes, consoled cornices, and balconies with pierced fronts. All windows are sashed with glazing bars. The enclosed porches have cornices and architraved entrances. The recessed houses have first-floor iron verandahs with swept roofs. Notably, No. 72 has boarded windows, which were added in 1984.
