Description
This house, located at 16 Devonshire Road, was built in the 1860s. It features a stucco exterior and a lead and slate mansard roof with three gablets on the first bay. The building has three storeys and a basement, arranged in three bays. The first bay includes a three-storey canted bay window. There is a sill band and entablature on the first floor, topped with a bracketed cornice. The corners of the building are accentuated with rusticated quoin strips. The windows have flat architraves and are sashed without glazing bars. The ground floor windows are adorned with bracketed cornices, while those on the first floor have friezes and cornices. The second floor features one rectangular oriel window, which is likely a later addition. The entrance is highlighted by an Ionic porch and a four-panel door.
