Description

This is a circa 1860 house located on Clifton Crescent in Folkestone. It is a three-storey building with an attic and basement, constructed of stucco. The roof is of slate and in a Mansard style. The front facade has three windows. The second-floor windows are round-headed. The first-floor windows are flanked by pilasters, and the central windows are topped with a pediment. The ground-floor windows have cambered heads, keystones, and rusticated surrounds. Flower guards are present on the ground and first floors. A doorcase features a cornice, pilasters, and a rectangular fanlight. The left side elevation has one window and a two-light square bay with a cornice and brackets above the first-floor window. The building forms a group with numbers 2 to 22 (even) on Clifton Crescent.
