41/1016 Lodge and stable block to Gateacre Grange. 14.3.75. G.V. II

Lodge, stables and coach house. late 1860's. Probably C. Sherlock. Stone with slate roof, fishscale bands. Building round 3 sides of courtyard with wall and gates to south. Street facade of 6 bays; drip mould over ground floor. Two 2- light ground floor windows and roundels with grilles between. Windows to 1st floor have 3-light casements. End stacks, right return has canted projecting bay with cornice and entrance with later glazed porch. Stable yard has paired windows with sashes to west, 2 carriage doors with flanking entrances and gabled dormers above to north. 2 carriage doors and 3 stable doors to east, right cross axial stack and tall octagonal louvre, to east.
