Description

This is a house located at 6 Gateacre Brow, built around 1805 to 1810. It is constructed of stone and has a slate roof, featuring two storeys and two bays. The building has a first-floor sill band and a top cornice, with flush quoins. The first bay includes a late 19th-century two-storey canted timber bay window with casements, while the second bay has a projecting tripartite window with ovolo mullions and a cornice. The first-floor window in this bay has a wedge lintel and vertical jambs, and is sashed with glazing bars. The central entrance is round-headed, featuring an architrave with impost blocks and a reeded frieze, and it has a six-panel door. This house is listed for its group value only.
