Description
Nos. 10 and 12, Gateacre Brow are a pair of early 19th-century houses. They are built of stucco with a hipped slate roof and have a two-storey, two-bay front. A 19th-century shop front is present, featuring a cornice. The first-floor windows are sash windows with glazing bars. A return elevation has sash windows with glazing bars in the first bay and blind windows in the second. A timber porch covers the central entrance, and there is an entrance to the basement on the left, distinguished by a coved lintel.
