Description

Nos. 1 and 3 Rose Lane are a pair of houses built around 1840. They are constructed of stucco and feature a hipped slate roof. Each house has two storeys and three bays, with the central two bays recessed and the end bays canted. There is a sill band on the first floor, along with a top frieze and cornice. The windows are sashed with architraves, and most include glazing bars. The entrances on the returns are adorned with angle pilasters and entablatures. No. 1 has a rectangular bay window in the third bay, while all ground floor windows have casements.
