Description
The entrance gates and piers at St Saviour's Convent date from around the 1840s and are possibly the work of architects Cunningham and Holme. The structure features two octagonal piers topped with ogival caps and spike finials. These piers are flanked by curved walls that include drip moulds and coping. The gates are made of wrought iron and are elaborately decorated, forming an impressive entrance to the convent.
