Description

Mosslake Lodge Vicarage is a vicarage built in 1873, likely designed by the architectural firm Paley and Austin. It features dressed rubble construction and a slate roof, arranged in an L-plan over two and three storeys. The west wing consists of four bays, with the end two bays projecting and rising to three storeys, topped with a swept pyramidal roof and a lateral stack. Drip moulds are present over the ground and first floors, along with a top corbel table and cornice. The first floor has two cross windows, while the second floor features a four-light window. The first two bays include two-light pointed windows leading to the stair, and the third bay contains a pointed entrance. The north wing, known as Mosslake Lodge, has its first bay breaking forward under a hipped roof, with a lateral stack in the second bay and irregular fenestration, including an entrance in the end bay.
