Description

The township boundary stone is located against a stone wall to the north of the Church of St. Matthew and St. James. The date of the stone is uncertain. It is a badly worn stone with a rounded top, featuring an incised vertical line in the center. On the left side of this line is the letter "w," which stands for Wavertree, and on the right side is the letter "G," which stands for Garston.
