Description

Strawberry House, now subdivided, was built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of stucco and has a hipped slate roof. The house is two storeys high and originally comprised seven bays. A cornice runs above the ground floor, with a top cornice above that; rusticated quoins are visible. The second and sixth bays project forward under open pediments. Most of the windows are architraved, and some are sash windows with glazing bars. The fourth and fifth bays feature rectangular bay windows, with a three-light window incorporating square colonnettes. Later timber bay windows have been added to the sixth and seventh bays; the bay window to the sixth bay is rectangular, while the other is two-story and polygonal. Several stucco stacks are present.
