Description
Oakfield Terrace is a symmetrical terrace of three houses built in the early 19th century. The buildings are constructed of stucco and topped with a slate roof. They are two storeys high, with two bays for houses 1 and 3, and three bays for house 2. The central three bays project forward under a gable, as do the end bays. The eaves are boxed. The end bays feature rectangular bay windows with recessed curved angles and cornices, while the centre has two canted bays flanking the entrance. The ground floor has casement windows with margin lights, and the first floor has sash windows with glazing bars. The central entrance is adorned with an architrave that includes rosettes in the upper lights. There are four stucco chimney stacks. The entrances to houses 1 and 3 are located in the returns, and the rear of the terrace faces the street.
