Description
Cliff Cottage is a house built in the mid-19th century. It is constructed of stone and features a slate roof. The building has two storeys and three bays, with the first bay projecting under a gable and being taller than the others. The end bay includes a later lean-to projection. The windows consist of two and three mullioned lights, and the first-floor window in the first bay has a drip-mould. The entrance in the first bay has a four-centred head. There is a wide brick cross-axial stack. The right side of the house facing the street displays decorative barge boards with finely detailed carving. Cliff Cottage is situated on the edge of a quarry.
