Description
No. 22 Dingle Road is a house that likely dates from the early 19th century and has been altered over time. It is constructed from coursed sandstone rubble and features a slate roof. The building has a double-depth, double-fronted layout with a large lean-to back extension that overlaps the right-hand end.
The house stands two storeys high and has two symmetrical windows. The central doorway is topped with a wedge lintel and features a recessed six-panel door with glazed top panels. On both floors, there are 16-pane unhorned sash windows. The gable ends have chimneys. The back extension has a doorway at the front and one window on each floor of the side wall.
This property is part of a group that includes Nos. 29-41 opposite and Nos. 8 and 10 Tithebarn Street to the south-west.
