Description

No. 36 Tamworth Street is a house dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of coursed squared sandstone and red brick, topped with a plain tile roof and stone coped gables featuring plain kneelers. The building has three storeys and a two-bay south elevation made of brick. The central doorway is topped with a bracketed stone hood and features a 20th-century door. To the left of the doorway is a 19th-century three-light casement window, while to the right is a large three-light casement window set under a wedge lintel. Above, there are two similar windows. The top floor contains two glazing bar sashes, also under wedge lintels.
