SD50SW PIMBO LANE 783-1/4/57 (West side) 25/06/73 Barn approximately 2 metres south of Bounty Farmhouse (Formerly Listed as: SKELMERSDALE AND HOLLAND PIMBO LANE Bounty Farmhouse and adjoining barn)

Small barn with attached shippon and stable. Probably later C17 enlarged and altered. Coursed thin sandstone rubble, stone slate roof. 3 bays, with a lean-to addition to the front of the 3rd bay, and a stable and shippon added to the rear. The east front has a full-height waggon doorway to the centre, with board doors, and blocked slit breathers on 2 levels. Both gables show the line of a former more steeply-pitched roof. The rear has a stable attached to the north bay and a shippon attached to the south bay, both under catslide roofs and together forming a porch to the rear waggon doorway. INTERIOR: 2 collar trusses with added dorsals. Forms a group with Bounty Farmhouse approx 2 metres north (qv).
