Coach house, stable and cart shed. Probably early to mid C19, in 3 builds; altered. Coursed squared sandstone and sandstone rubble, stone slate roofs on 3 levels. Linear plan in 3 parts: the coach house at the south end, the stable attached to the right of this and the cart shed continued to the right (where it is attached to barn (qv)). The 2-storey coach house has a segmental-headed carriage doorway at ground floor flanked by square-headed doorways, and a square loading door in the centre of the upper floor. The stable to the right is of 2 lower storeys with a stable door to the right, a circular pitching hole above this and one window on each floor to the left. The cart shed is single-storeyed and has 2 square-headed cart openings. Forms group with Lower Balcony Farmhouse (qv) at south end of yard, cottages (qv) and shippon range (qv) on east side of yard, and barn (qv) at north end.
