Shippon range. Probably late C18 or earlier C19; altered. Coursed and random sandstone rubble, stone slate roof. 3 bays. 2 low storeys. The east side (to the road) has a stable door to the 1st bay, a window to the 3rd bay, and 2 square loading doors above; the west side (to the yard) has various stable doorways and other openings. INTERIOR: north bay has stalls. Forms group with Lower Balcony Farmhouse (qv), and with the cottages to the left (qv), the coach house/cart shed range on the west side of the yard (qv), and the barn at the north end (qv).
