SD 56 NW HALTON-WITH-AUGHTON LOW ROAD Halton Green 7/107 Green Beck House,

House. Early C19th. Coursed sandstone rubble with punched quoins. Slate roof. 2-unit double-pile with central entry and with 3rd unit originally separate but of same build to right. 2 storeys with attics, 3 bays. All windows and doors have plain stone surrounds. On each side of the front door is a sashed window with glazing bars, with 2 similar sashes above on the 1st floor. 3rd unit to right has fixed window with glazing bars with a door to its right. On the 1st floor is a large fixed window with glazing bars. Chimney on left-hand gable and between bays 2 and 3. Chimney on right-hand gable is modern. Rear room of right-hand unit has original entrance in gable. Gables have copings and kneelers. Rear of main house has tall narrow stair window with small panes. A 1st floor doorway to 3rd unit is reached by external stone steps.
