Description
Slyne Hall is a house dating from the late 18th century, constructed from sandstone rubble with a slate roof. The building is symmetrical, featuring three storeys and three bays, with chamfered quoins. The windows and door have plain stone surrounds. The ground floor windows are sashed with glazing bars, while the first-floor windows are modern but also include glazing bars. The second-floor windows are sashed, and the central windows on the first and second floors are blank. There are stacks on the gables and between the second and third bays. A three-storey stair window with small panes and two transoms is located in the north gable. The rear wall has a central plain stone door surround, with two plain stone window surrounds on each floor. A lower wing of one bay adjoins the north gable.
