Description

The stocks and stone seat, located at the junction of Slyne Road and Throstle Grove, date from the 18th century. The structure consists of two sandstone pillars with a square section, featuring slots that support a wooden base and top piece, which has six holes. An iron locking bar is attached to the top piece. Behind the stocks is a long block of stone that serves as a seat.
