9/156 Blackwood End Farmhouse - (southern Farm)

House, late C17th and 1727, altered C19th. Rendered rubble with slate roof. 2 storeys with attic. The main part of the facade, at the left, is of 2 bays and has sashed windows with plain stone surrounds. A door between bays has a cyma-moulded surround and a lintel inscribed: 'ERR 1727'. At the right is a window with plain stone surround and central square mullion. To its left is a remaining section of drip course. Above on the 1st floor is a 4-light rebated and chamfered mullioned window. Chimneys on gables and to right of 2nd bay. Right-hand return wall has one-light attic window.
