Description

Eskrigge Hall is a house dating from the late 17th century, and subsequently altered. It is constructed of pebbledashed rubble with a slate roof. The building is two storeys high. Windows have rebated and chamfered mullions, with some mullions restored in concrete. The ground floor windows include two of two lights to the left of the entrance, one of three lights and one formerly of two lights (with the mullion removed) to the right. The first floor windows comprise two of three lights, and a central window with plain reveals. The door has a rendered surround. Gable chimneys are present. The interior has been significantly altered, featuring a chamfered main beam on the ground floor, a spice cupboard recess, and a 19th-century-style plain stone fireplace.
