Description
Box Tree Farmhouse is an early 19th-century house located in Gressingham. It is constructed from sandstone rubble with a slate roof. The main section of the house comprises two bays, featuring sash windows with glazing bars and simple stone surrounds. A plain stone surround frames the front door, positioned between the bays. To the left is a bay that likely originated as agricultural use; the first-floor window in this bay has glazing bars and a chamfered stone surround. Ground-floor features in this bay include traces of a blocked door and a window with plain reveals. Chimneys are situated on the gable ends and to the left of the main facade.
