Description
Pennington Hall is a house dated 1653, with significant later alterations. It is constructed of brick and features a stone slate roof. The building has two storeys and consists of four bays, with the first and third bays projecting under gables. The flat-mullioned windows in the first and third bays have two lights and are set beneath wider label moulds, with raised brick diapering above. The first bay on the ground floor displays the date above its window. The second bay includes a five-light window on the ground floor and a four-light window on the first floor, with a plain entrance to the right. The fourth bay, which was under construction in 1986, has three-light single-chamfered-mullioned windows. The second bay of the front facade and the rear facade were rebuilt in the late 18th century or early 19th century.
