Description

Marsh Farmhouse is likely of mid-18th century origin, with a later barn extension. The farmhouse is constructed of brick with stone dressings and a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high and has two bays. A stone base extends to the entrance, with the chamfer continuing around. A double brick band sits above the ground floor and is dropped over the entrance. The windows have gauged-brick cambered arches and 20th-century casements. The entrance also features a gauged-brick cambered arch and a 20th-century door. Gable-end stacks are present, one now cross-axial. A barn extension to the right has ventilation holes. The interior has not been inspected.
