Description

Rectory Farmhouse is a mid-18th century farmhouse with a later addition. It is constructed of brick with a stone base and has a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and originally comprised three bays, though the first bay was added later. A brick band runs above the ground floor, dropped to accommodate the entrance. The ground floor windows have gauged-brick cambered arches, while the first-floor window in the original bay has a wedge lintel. All windows are casements. The entrance is topped by a gauged-brick cambered arch. The farmhouse has gable-end stacks, one of which is now cross-axial.
