HAIGH Standish Lakeside Cottages, Nos.13 to 16 (consec)

(Formerly listed as Lakeside Cottages, Nos. 13 to 16 (consec), RED ROCK LANE (north side))

GV II Terrace of four houses.One lintel reads: "WJR 1860". For dye works company. Stucco with pebble-dash and slate roof. Two storeys, six bays. Pebble-dash first floor with stucco strips to angles; wide eaves and verges. Windows have chamfered reveals and label moulds, continuous to first floor; three-light horizontally sliding sashes; first and sixth bays have casements. Entrances have label moulds, those to Nos.13 and 16 to returns. Three cross-axial stacks.

An interesting example of early workers' housing.
