Description

A farmhouse and barn, likely dating from the 17th century with later alterations and extensions. The house is timber-framed with brick and plaster infill, and sandstone rubble, featuring a brick gable, Welsh slate roof, and brick stacks. The rectangular plan is aligned east-northeast/west-southwest, comprising two main bays plus one structural bay. It's a single-storey building with an attic. The south elevation has three windows, with late 19th-century 2-light casements in gabled dormers. The ground floor features two contemporary glazing bar casements to the left, and a glazed door under a gabled canopy. A one-bay extension has a brick east gable. The timber frame extends three panels high to the wall-plate. A weatherboarded barn is attached to the west end, with two bays and two loft openings. A ledged door is positioned on the right-hand side. The interior of the barn contains queen-struts to the collar.
