Description
Bunn's Lane Cottage is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 17th century to the 18th century, with later alterations. It features a timber frame with brick and plaster infill, as well as weatherboards. The roof is made of sandstone slate, supported by sandstone rubble and brick stacks. The building has an L-plan layout, with arms extending to the northeast and southeast, and consists of one storey with attics.
On the southwest elevation, there are two windows: early 20th-century leaded casements with two lights in dormers on the right side and a projecting weatherboarded gable front on the left side. Below the dormers, there is a 3-light and a 2-light casement, separated by a gabled canopy and a ledged door. The frame generally consists of three square panels high from the cill to the wall-plate, with the southeast arm having thinner members. The interior has not been inspected.
