Description

YAZOR CP BUNN'S LANE SO 34 NE 3/98 Bunn's Lane Cottage

  • II Farmhouse. Probably late C17 to C18 with later alterations. Timber- frame with brick and plaster infill and weatherboards. Sandstone slate roofs with sandstone rubble and brick stacks. L-plan with arms to north- east and south-east. One storey and attics. South-west elevation has two windows, 2-light early C20 leaded casements in dormers to right and projecting weatherboarded gable front to left-hand side. Beneath the dormers, a 3-light and 2-light casement between which is a gabled canopy and ledged door. Frame is generally three square panels high from cill to wall-plate, that of south-east arm having thinner members. Interior not inspected. (RCHM, Vol III, p 218).
