Description
Town Farmhouse is a house dated 1740, as indicated by the inscription "EPH 1740" on a tablet above the door. It is built of Flemish bond brick and has a slate roof. The house has a three-unit, two-storey layout. The door, located between the first and second bays, features a semi-circular arch above a recessed brick panel. Each floor includes two, three, and three-light horizontally sliding casement windows, with cambered brick arches on the ground floor and segmental arches on the first floor. There are three ridge chimney stacks, and the sides of the building are rendered. Inside, the property is said to have fielded six-panel doors with H hinges, as well as a staircase with turned balusters, a closed string, and square newels.
