Description

The village stocks located against the churchyard wall of St. Luke's Church date back to 1766, as indicated by the inscription "RL 1766" on the left post. These stocks consist of stone posts that taper towards the top and feature Gothic-type roll mouldings at the top. The posts are also grooved to accommodate replaced timber foot restraints.
