Description
Holly House is a detached house built around 1830. It is constructed of brick and features a pyramid roof made of Welsh slate. The house has a double depth plan with a staircase located at the rear of a central entrance hall. It stands two storeys high and has a symmetrical front with three windows. The windows are 12-pane hornless sash windows, each with sills and stucco lintels. The central doorway is framed by an aedicule with engaged Doric columns and includes a fanlight with glazing bars, along with a half-glazed door. The side walls have double stacks and additional hornless sash windows. At the rear, there is a 19-pane round-headed stair window and casement windows in their original openings. Although the interior has not been inspected, it is believed to contain a contemporary staircase, fireplaces, internal panelled shutters, and other joinery details.
