Description
Broom Lane Cottage is a house dated 1741, built of red Flemish bond brick with a 20th-century tiled roof. It has two storeys and an entrance front with two bays. The central door on the ground floor features a wooden reveal with ovolo moulding at the corners and is sheltered by a 20th-century gabled porch. On either side of the door are three-light cambered-headed casements. The first floor has two similar three-light windows with flat lintels. To the right, there is a 20th-century single-storey addition, and to the left, a conservatory. There are also 19th-century additions at the rear and attic lights in the gable ends. Some internal small framing is present.
