Description

The sundial located south of the west end of the nave of St. Oswald's Church in Nether Peover dates from the 18th century and is made of stone. It features an octagonal shaft that stands on square steps, which are set at an angle. The shaft supports a square dial on a square stone head, although the name and date on the dial are not legible. The sundial includes a gnomon.
