Description

The aviary adjoining Dunham Massey Lodge is an 18th-century structure built of Flemish bond brick, topped with a monopitch graduated slate roof. It features an L-shaped cloister-like arrangement, with wings consisting of two and six bays, each adorned with pointed brick arches that have stone keystones. The roof is finished with a stone-coped ridge. Inside, the nesting boxes are virtually complete.
