Description

The building is a slaughterhouse dating from the 18th century. It features English bond brickwork with stone dressings and a stone slate roof. The structure is two storeys tall, with one room on each floor, both equipped with fireplaces. The gable door is flanked by two window openings on each side elevation, with one blocked opening above the door. All openings are topped with flat brick arches. The building has coped gables with kneelers and a projecting gable chimney stack that has individual shafts rising above the verge level.
