Aviaries. Mid C19. Adjoining garden walls, early C19. Brick with hipped slate roofs. Rebated and soffited eaves. Ramped slab coping. Single and 2 storeys. 9 unequal bays. All openings have elliptical heads. Doors are metal frames covered with metal mesh. Aviaries have central canted 2 storey projecting bay with single storey flanking wings ending in square pavilions. South front has to left, blank opening and door. To its right, door flanked by single blank openings. To right again, 2 doors. Central bay has 3 openings. To right, 2 doors. Beyond, door flanked by single blank openings. Beyond again, door and blank opening. Left return angle has 3 doors. Right return angle has a single large opening. Above, central bay has 3 unglazed openings with glazing bars and pigeonholes. Above again, pyramidal vent with lead roof. East end has 3 doorways. Adjoining walls to sculpture garden, brick with ramped slab coping. Approx. 200M long.
