Description
The stable range at Flintham House is a late 18th-century structure that was extended in the mid-19th century. It is built of brick and features pantile roofs with dentillated eaves, along with single ridge and rear wall stacks. The building has two storeys and consists of eight bays.
On the left side, the 18th-century stable includes a central stable door with a segmental head, flanked by two unglazed oval openings. The 19th-century range has openings with chamfered segmental and elliptical heads. To the left, there is another stable door, followed by a slatted casement. Further along, there is a pair of carriage doors and an opening leading to a recess that contains three doors. Beyond this, there is a Yorkshire sash window and a door with ventilation slits. Above, there are three slatted casements. To the right, there is a glazing bar casement and another slatted casement.
The gable facing the street is banded, and the rear of the building has a small casement window and a lean-to toilet to its right. Above the toilet, there are a pair of slatted openings and an iron wind vane. This building is included in the register for its group value only.
