Description
The barn at The Old Bakehouse, built in 1778 for J. Bettinson, is a single-storey structure made of brick with a pantile roof. It features rebated eaves and is divided into three bays. On the left side, there is a 20th-century garage with a pair of doors. To the right, the barn has three breathers, followed by a double and a single door with segmental heads. Further to the right, there is a barred oval opening and a stable door. Above the doors on the left, there are three breathers, and to the right of these is a datestone inscribed "J. Bettin. 1778". Inside, the barn has a half-height loft and a mid-19th century kingpost roof, along with two diamond breathers in the north gable.
