Description
This is a terrace of houses, now converted into flats and other uses, built around 1800. The structure is made of brick with stone dressings and has a stone slate roof. Numbers 190A, 192, and 194 were originally one house, featuring two rooms in width with a central entrance and staircase. Number 190 and 188A are each single rooms in width, with doors positioned to the right and left, respectively. All the houses are two rooms deep. The terrace consists of 4, 3, and 2 bays from left to right. The doors have a stuccoed cornice and surround, along with an overlight. The sash windows are topped with flat brick arches, keystones, and stone sills, but no glazing bars remain. The rear elevation of number 190 features a two-storey octagonal bay window with tripartite windows. Internally, dog-leg staircases are still present.
