Description
The Reed Hotel is a public house that was originally built as a hotel in the late 18th century. It is constructed of brick with stone dressings and features a slate roof. The building is two rooms wide and two rooms deep, with a central door. It has three bays and stands three storeys tall with a basement. The roof is hipped. The door is adorned with a cast iron overlight, pilasters, and a cornice. The left ground floor corner is rounded off, and a stone moulded corbel supports the brickwork above. The right corner features a stone quoin. The windows have stone wedge lintels and sills, with the first floor displaying a sill band and a central blind window.
