Description
The Vicarage, now used as offices, was built in 1906, likely designed by J.N. Comper. It features red brick with stone dressings and a stone slate roof, and has a roughly "T" shaped plan in a Jacobean style. The building is two storeys tall with an attic and basement. It includes a variety of one, two, three, and four-light mullioned windows, as well as one six-light mullioned and transomed window, all fitted with sliding sashes. The entrance door is topped with a moulded dated lintel beneath a cyma-moulded flat hood. The rear elevation showcases a canted stone bay window. The gables are coped and have stone kneelers with ball finials. The front and side chimneys feature swept weatherings and taper slightly in width towards a small cornice.
