Description

This is a row of nine cottages located on Ripponden Road, Oldham, dating to the late 18th century. The cottages are built of roughly coursed and squared stone, with stone flagged roofs. They are low, two-story structures, each having a single-unit double-pile plan. Doorways have been renewed within the original openings, retaining their heavy stone lintels. Each cottage features a three-light mullioned window on both floors, although some of these windows have been renewed. End wall stacks are present.
