Description

A farmhouse and adjoining farm buildings dating from the 1880s, constructed of rock-faced stone with a slate roof. The farmhouse is a single-depth design with a central entrance and two storeys, with a barn situated under the same roof at the rear. Architectural details include a projecting plinth, eaves gutter brackets, coped gables with kneelers, and gable chimney stacks. A central doorway is topped by an overlight and flat canopy. The front has four-light double-chamfered mullion and transom windows in bays one and three, and a two-light window above the door, all with hoodmoulds. The rear elevation features a central cart entry, with pitching holes on either side indicating haylofts. Single-storey farm buildings extend from the rear on both sides, forming a quadrangle.
