Description
Spring Head Farmhouse is a late 18th-century farmhouse located on the east side of Heights Lane in Saddleworth. The building is constructed from hammer-dressed watershot stone with a slate roof. It has a single-depth plan with two bays, three storeys, and a lean-to extension against the left gable. A doorway on the left side has been replaced by a window, both featuring dressed surrounds. The front facade has a five-light window on the ground floor and two three-light windows on the upper floors. All windows feature recessed flat-faced stone mullions. There are also three-light windows in the gable. The farmhouse has gable chimney stacks. A rear door has a square-cut surround, and a blocked door with a dressed surround is also present.
