Description

This is an early 18th-century farmhouse with an attached barn dating from the early to mid-19th century. The farmhouse is constructed of hammer-dressed stone with a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high. The windows are double-chamfered mullioned, with many lacking some of their mullions. The front elevation features a three-room layout with a five-light window above a similar window, a six-light window above a matching window, a doorway obscured by a mid-20th-century rendered porch, and a five-light window above a matching one (with one light blocked). Gutter brackets are present. The left-hand return wall has kneelers and a stack, while two further stacks rise from the ridge. Attached to the right-hand return wall is a barn with a continuous roofline. A segmental arched cart entry features skewbacks. Mistal doorways are located on either side of the cart entry. The right-hand return wall of the barn has a coped gable with kneelers.
